The Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation recently published two poetry translations in French and English of selected poems by Sultan Al Owais under the title “Ashes of Love.” The French translation was completed by translator Antoine Jouqui, while the English translation was done by Dr. Omnia Amin. These translations mark the centenary of the poet Sultan bin Ali Al Owais (1925-2025), which UNESCO has declared the International Year in his honor. The foundation has prepared a rich program of cultural, intellectual, artistic, musical, and cinematic events throughout the year to celebrate this occasion.
