Yes, search engines have recently witnessed a remarkable rise in questions like: “Is Donald Trump dead?” after his absence from some public events coincided with the spread of a video claiming that the famous series “The Simpsons” predicted his death in 2025. Not to forget that senior leaders and officials in Washington’s history sometimes live on political, economic, and social news and predictions!

It is known that silence for a period not exceeding a week is necessary to arrange internal affairs in particular, and external ones in general. This overlap between reality and fiction opened the door to a wave of speculation on social media platforms, especially after the mystery deepened with statements from his deputy JD Vance about “preparing for a possible tragedy,” before he confirmed that Trump is in good health.

The circulated clip, which garnered millions of views on Instagram, shows a Trump-like figure collapsing live on air after a chest crisis, accompanied by a comment claiming that he would pass away.

The timing of the video intensified the controversy, as it came after the White House officially announced the president’s diagnosis with “chronic venous insufficiency,” a circulatory disorder not considered life-threatening, despite images of bruises and swelling that raised further questions.

However, American media reports, including Variety and Euronews magazines, denied the existence of an “original episode” predicting his death, pointing out that the circulated video is merely a manipulated mix of real and fabricated scenes.

The pace of rumors surged unprecedentedly after U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated in an interview with USA Today on August 27 that he is ready to assume the presidency in case of a “horrific tragedy.” However, he simultaneously emphasized—almost as if mourning the president—that Trump is in “excellent” fitness, activity, and health.

Vance, eager to sit in the Oval Office chair, added: “He is the last person to make calls at night and the first to wake up and start calls in the morning. Yes, horrific tragedies happen, but I am very confident that the American president is in good health, will complete his term, and will achieve great accomplishments for the American people. And if, God forbid, a horrific tragedy occurs, I don’t think there is better practical training than what I have received in the past 200 days.”
