Julian Nagelsmann, the coach of the German national team, announced his stance on the possibility of Manuel Neuer returning to the “Mannschaft” during the press conference before the match against Luxembourg, amid increasing media talks about this in recent weeks.

In his statements, Nagelsmann said: “It is not wise to discuss every possible scenario that could happen. Since Manuel Neuer’s retirement, we have not faced any problems in the goalkeeper position.”

The German coach added: “Everything is possible in football and may require certain actions, but currently this is not the case.”

He confirmed that he is in constant contact with Neuer, saying: “I talk to Manuel Neuer, but our conversations are not always about football only.”
