The Jordanian national football team has completed its technical and physical preparations ahead of a friendly match against Albania at 8 PM Jordan time on Tuesday at the Albania Air Stadium in Tirana. This match is part of the preparations for the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 and the 2026 World Cup finals.
The team held its final training session on Monday evening at the match venue, led by coach Jamal Salami, with all players participating except Ali Hajabi, who suffered an ankle sprain on Sunday and will be sidelined for a week. The team wishes him a speedy recovery.
The squad includes 28 players: Yazid Abu Laila, Nour Bani Atiya, Malik Shalabiya, Abdullah Naseeb, Youssef Abu Aljazar, Mohammad Abu Alnadi, Hadi Al-Hourani, Salim Obeid, Saad Al-Rousan, Muhannad Abu Taha, Mohammad Abu Hashish, Ali Hajabi, Adham Al-Quraishi, Issam Al-Samiri, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Saadeh, Nour Al-Rawabdeh, Amer Jamous, Ahmed Al-Salman, Mousa Al-Tamari, Mahmoud Mardi, Ali Alwan, Ali Azaiza, Mohammad Abu Zureiq, Odeh Al-Fakhouri, Abdullah Awad, Rizq Bani Hani, and Yazan Al-Naimat.

Salami pointed out that the opponent is in a good phase after playing six consecutive matches without defeat, which motivates Al-Nashama to deliver an outstanding performance and achieve a positive result.
Player Ibrahim Saadeh confirmed the team’s readiness for the match, stating that the technical staff reviewed the opponent’s strengths and weaknesses and worked on them during preparations to achieve the desired performance.
The Jordan Football Association aims through training camps and friendly matches to provide the highest levels of preparation and support for Al-Nashama ahead of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 in Qatar and the 2026 World Cup competitions in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
It is worth noting that Al-Nashama secured their qualification for the 2026 World Cup finals for the first time in their history, becoming the first Arab team to guarantee a spot in the World Cup.
