Egypt’s U17 national team, born in 2008, is playing a strong friendly match against their Tunisian counterparts today, Friday, as part of their preparations for the U17 World Cup scheduled from November 3 to 27, 2025.
The national team is preparing to compete in the U17 World Cup for the first time since 1997, playing in Group E alongside England, Venezuela, and Haiti.
The technical staff, led by Ahmed El Kass, hopes the friendly against Tunisia will boost the players’ readiness and provide maximum technical benefit before the tournament starts.
The technical staff announced the current camp roster, which includes:
- Goalkeepers: Omar Abdelaziz, Amr Adel, Mohamed Tarek, Fadi Wael.
- Defenders: Nour Ashraf, Hamza El-Dajoui, Mohamed Sherif, Fares Fakhry, Adham Farid, Ahmed Samir, Ammar Mohamed El-Sayed, Marwan Essam, Mohannad El-Shami, Yassin Hossam.
- Midfielders: Omar Abotaleb, Basel Medhat, Omar Kamal, Mohamed Hamad, Bilal Atiya, Anas Rushdi, Mohamed Sobih, Ibrahim El-Nagrawi, Karim Gomaa, Seif El-Gebaly.
- Forwards: Hamza Abdelkarim, Abdelaziz El-Zoghbi, Ziad Ayoub.
