As part of its commitment to enhancing cultural and artistic communication between peoples, the Egypt Public Library in Dokki, headed by Ambassador Abdel Raouf El-Reedy, is hosting a special artistic concert by the Venezuelan folk band “Ruwad Al-Jorobo” on Thursday, August 28 at 6:30 PM in the library’s third-floor auditorium. The event is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture – Foreign Cultural Relations and the Venezuelan Embassy in Cairo. The band features musicians and singers who will perform traditional music using distinctive string and percussion instruments, alongside dance performances reflecting the vibrancy of Venezuelan folk heritage. The concert is expected to attract a wide audience of world art lovers, serving as a new cultural bridge linking Cairo with one of Latin America’s prominent artistic experiences.
This event is part of the Egypt Public Library’s activities to celebrate diverse cultures and provide the Egyptian public with the opportunity to closely experience the arts of other peoples, contributing to the promotion of cultural exchange and openness to the world.
