The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced the launch of the ticket sales process for the 2026 World Cup matches in multiple phases this month, with initial prices starting at 60 US dollars per seat for group stage matches, reaching up to 6,710 US dollars for the final.

The federation revealed in a statement on its official website the schedule for the first phase of sales, where fans will be able to purchase single-match tickets for specific stadiums, as well as packages for specific national teams, noting that prices may vary according to demand.

The statement mentioned that fans holding Visa cards can register to obtain a “FIFA ID” on the official website to enter the pre-sale lottery, which will be held from September 10 to 19. Selected candidates through this lottery can apply to purchase tickets starting October 1.

It was also stated that a maximum sales limit of four tickets per person per match will be set, and no one may purchase more than 40 tickets for the entire tournament. Fans can submit requests for specific matches.

FIFA confirmed its intention to offer additional products such as tickets for fans wishing to sit with others supporting the same team, conditional tickets for those wanting to reserve seats in the early rounds, and will also launch an official resale platform.

The tournament, scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will feature 48 teams for the first time, the largest number in World Cup history, with matches taking place from June 11 to July 19 next year.
