The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of the young man Mohammad Jamal Omar Madani, 25 years old, shot by Israeli occupation forces in Balata Camp in the city of Nablus, on Wednesday.

Israeli forces infiltrated Balata Camp early Wednesday morning in a vehicle with Palestinian license plates, besieged a house amid further reinforcements, spread in the camp’s alleys, and fired live bullets and tear gas grenades. The young man Mujahid Khdeish was arrested after his house was surrounded inside the camp.

In a related context, two young men were injured by Israeli occupation gunfire after its forces stormed the city of Jericho. Medical sources in the city stated that the two suffered moderate injuries to their feet and received necessary medical treatment.

In the town of al-Khader south of Bethlehem, occupation forces stormed the Al-Deir area on Wednesday morning, completely closed it off, then proceeded to demolish two two-story houses belonging to citizens Mohammad Adnan Abu Amous and Hassan Youssef Salah.

During the demolition, occupation forces fired tear gas and sound grenades towards Palestinians to prevent them from approaching, with no injuries reported.

The occupation forces also carried out a wide campaign of raids and arrests at dawn, covering several governorates.

In Qabatiya south of Jenin, six young men were arrested after their homes were raided and contents damaged: Mahmoud Tzazaa, Hammam Al-Sakhn, Moataz Zakarna, Majd Zakarna, Ahmed Hanaysha, and Zaid Hanaysha.

In Bal’a east of Tulkarm, the young man Nour Al-Hajj was arrested after his home was raided, while Israeli forces conducted searches in the eastern neighborhood of the town. A military force also arrested a citizen from the town of Na’lin west of Ramallah after raiding his home.

In Hebron, dozens of settlers seized a house belonging to the Nasser family in the old city near Bab Al-Baladiya, where they raised Israeli flags and held celebrations under tight protection from the occupation army and police, who closed Al-Shalala Street.

Meanwhile, cities and towns in the West Bank witnessed a noticeable escalation in resistance activities against occupation forces and settlers.

According to the Palestinian Information Center “Ma’ata”, about 15 diverse operations were carried out within 24 hours, including armed clashes, explosive device detonations, throwing Molotov cocktails, confrontations, and stone-throwing, alongside citizens resisting settler attacks.
