The Cairo International Film Festival announced the jury members for the “International Critics’ Week” competition at its 46th edition, held from November 12 to 21, 2025.

This announcement was made during the festival’s press conference held earlier today.

The jury for the “International Critics’ Week” competition consists of:

• Salma Abu Deif – Actress from Egypt
• Elie Dagher – Director and writer from Lebanon

The Cairo International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious festivals in the Arab world and Africa, and the only one in the region accredited with the “Category A” status by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in Paris.

Founded in 1976, the festival is held annually under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.
