Hossam El-Mandouh, the Treasurer of Zamalek Club, stated that a part of the overdue dues for the first football team players was paid today, Thursday, emphasizing that this step aims to maintain stability and focus before the match against Ghazl El Mahalla.
El-Mandouh confirmed in exclusive statements to Youm7 that another portion will be provided to the players in the coming period, noting that the players’ dues are a top priority for the board, which is working hard to provide and pay them on time.
Zamalek is preparing to face Ghazl El Mahalla in the tenth round of the Egyptian Premier League, scheduled for the day after tomorrow, Saturday, at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia.
Zamalek enters the match leading the league with 17 points after winning 5 matches, drawing 2, and losing 2. They won against Ceramica, Modern Sport, Pharco, Al Masry, and Ismaily, while drawing with Al Mokawloon and El Gouna and losing to Wadi Degla and Al Ahly.
