Samia Sami, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Companies Affairs, participated in the opening of the 45th edition of the International Hotel and Tourism Facilities Equipment Expo HACE Hotels Expo 2025.

The expo is held under the auspices of the General Authority for Tourism Promotion from October 7 to 9 at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center in the Fifth Settlement, organized by the Egyptian Marketing Group – EGM, a company specialized in organizing specialized exhibitions in Egypt and the Middle East.

Samia Sami conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities to the organizers and participating companies, wishing them success and hoping the expo will witness continuous development year after year. She emphasized the ministry’s keenness to support and sponsor such events that highlight Egypt’s hospitality industry.

She praised the distinguished products presented by the participating companies this year, especially the local ones, reflecting pride in the Egyptian hospitality and hotel industry.

Sami toured the expo, inspecting the various pavilions of the exhibiting companies and listening to their distinguished products and services related to hotel and tourism facility equipment.

She also visited the pavilion of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, which features a variety of promotional materials for Egyptian tourist destinations, a screen showing promotional films launched by the ministry to highlight Egypt’s rich destinations, products, and diverse tourism styles, in addition to souvenirs for the expo guests.

The opening was attended by Yousry Abu El-Naga, Chairman of the Egyptian Marketing Group.

Also present from the ministry were Mohamed Haggag, Director General of the General Administration for Hotel Establishment Licensing; Doaa Fouad, Director General of the General Administration for Customs Needs and Exemptions; Ali Hassan, Director General of the General Administration for Inspection of Tourist Shops; and Ibrahim Esmat, Director General of the General Administration for Licensing Tourist Shops.

HACE Hotels Expo 2025 is the largest specialized exhibition for hotel, restaurant, cafe equipment, bakery, and confectionery supplies. It is divided into six sectors and held this year in three halls covering an area of 30,000 square meters, hosting more than 450 Egyptian and foreign companies.

The expo hosts many important figures working in the tourism and hotel sectors from several countries. The event includes several international competitions in cooperation with the Egyptian Chefs Association, such as live cooking arts competitions, live cooking shows before the audience, and a Barista Clash competition in cooperation with United Group “Kimbo Egypt”.
