On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump affirmed that “no one will be forced to leave” Gaza, reiterating a promise included in his “peace plan” which Israel and Hamas agreed to in its first phase.

Trump said from the Oval Office, where he received Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, that “no one will be forced to leave. In fact, the opposite is true.”
