The Theatrical Professions Union, headed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, mourns the death of the widow of the late artist Hamdi Gheith, offering sincere condolences to her family and praying for her mercy and patience for her relatives. Miada, the daughter of the late artist, announced on Facebook the death of her father’s wife, describing her as her second mother and the mother of her only sister. The deceased was buried in the family cemetery, and condolences were limited to the cemetery or by phone, following her will. Hamdi Gheith was born in 1924 in the village of Shalshalmoon in the Menya Al-Qamh center, Al-Sharqia governorate. He studied law before joining the Higher Institute of Acting, being among its first graduates, and continued his theatrical studies in Paris.
