Hussein El-Shahat, Al Ahly player, quickly rewarded his coach Emad El-Nahhas, the team’s head coach, after coming on as a substitute in the 131st derby match in the league against Zamalek on Monday during the ninth round of the competition.
In the 69th minute, El-Shahat replaced his teammate Taher Mohamed Taher, who left the field due to injury.
Less than two minutes later, Hussein El-Shahat exchanged the ball with Mohamed Sherif, who dribbled past Zamalek defender Hossam Abdel Meguid, then passed the ball to El-Shahat who scored to give Al Ahly the equalizer.
Zamalek had taken the lead with a goal by Hossam Abdel Meguid in the 31st minute from a retaken penalty, due to Al Ahly players entering the penalty area during Abdullah El-Saeed’s first missed penalty kick.
