Manama, October 2 /BNA/ – Officials from the Ministry of Education confirmed that Bahrain’s winning first place globally in Microsoft’s 2025 Schools Incubator Technology Program, with participation from 60 countries, reflects the Kingdom’s advanced status in educational technology and serves as an incentive to continue developing the educational process.
In this context, Ms. Kafayah Habib Al-Anzour, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Services, praised this pioneering educational achievement that calls for pride and honor, affirming it is the result of great efforts exerted by the ministry in integrating digital technology into education, expressing her appreciation for all educational and administrative staff in public and private schools.
Mr. Ibrahim Ali Al-Borshaid, Assistant Undersecretary for Education, confirmed that this victory reflects the ministry’s commitment to improving education quality by placing the student at the heart of the educational process and harnessing technology to enhance critical thinking and innovation, empowering the teacher as a key partner in this qualitative shift.
Engineer Haitham Isa Al-Sahli, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services, explained that what distinguishes Bahrain’s experience is the integrated integration of technology with various support services, from maintenance and transportation to technical support and administrative supervision, ensuring a smooth and safe educational experience for every student and teacher.
Dr. Samah Mohammed Al-Ajawi, Assistant Undersecretary for Developing Education and Learning Policies, also praised this achievement, affirming it is the result of developing advanced educational policies aligned with the requirements of the digital age, as the ministry is keen to equip students and teachers with effective digital skills that enhance their communication and creativity, placing the Kingdom’s schools at the forefront of global educational digital transformation.
Ms. Nadia Saeed Al-Marisi, Director of Information Technology and Digital Education Department, clarified that the ministry strategically invested in building an advanced digital infrastructure and providing schools and teachers with the latest technical tools, which contributed to achieving this crowning achievement representing a global certificate of the success of Bahrain’s digital transformation journey.
Ms. Fatima Mahdi Hussein, Director of Education Policies and Development Department, confirmed that the achievement reflects the success of the ministry’s plans in developing educational policies supporting digital transformation, stressing the ministry’s keenness to build flexible educational frameworks capable of competing globally.
