On Sunday, rain ranging from light to heavy fell across various parts of the country, including Hail, Mohammed bin Zayed City in Fujairah, Kalba, Wushaah south of Al Dhaid in Sharjah, Saih Al Saadi, and Adhn south of Ras Al Khaimah.
The rain is expected to continue in some interior, southern areas, and islands on Tuesday due to the country’s exposure to a surface low-pressure system accompanied by an upper atmospheric low-pressure extension.
The National Center of Meteorology urged citizens to exercise caution during heavy rains and strong winds.
Various areas in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are also witnessing rain of varying intensities at different times until Tuesday. Abu Dhabi city will experience light to moderate rain in scattered and limited areas, possibly extending to interior regions, accompanied by moderate to active winds with clouds. Meanwhile, Al Ain and Al Dhafra regions will see variable intensity rain in scattered and limited areas, sometimes heavy in some places, accompanied by active to strong winds with cloud formation, possibly with small hailstones.
The center stated in its daily report that winds will be southeast to northwest at 15 to 30, reaching up to 55 km/h. The waves in the Arabian Gulf will be light to moderate, occasionally disturbed with clouds. The first high tide occurs at 16:37, the first low tide at 09:44, and the second low tide at 00:29. In the Sea of Oman, waves will be light to moderate, occasionally disturbed with clouds. The first high tide is at 13:10, the second at 03:32, the first low tide at 08:19, and the second at 20:32.
