Narwal has announced the launch of its new cleaning robot, the Freo 002 Max, featuring a powerful suction capacity of up to 25,000 Pascals, an advanced self-cleaning system, and modern sterilization technologies based on electrochemically activated water.

The new model aims to provide a smarter cleaning experience with support for artificial vision and an intelligent voice assistant.

The Freo 002 Max relies on an artificial vision system supported by dual wide-angle cameras and a 10TOPS processor, enabling it to recognize more than 250 types of objects and create precise maps with a depth of up to 5 mm.

The device features a slim body with a height of 9.5 cm, allowing it to clean under low furniture and overcome obstacles up to 40 mm. It also uses dual side brushes with a diameter of 75 mm and three modes for precise edge cleaning.

The robot integrates an adaptive cleaning system that adjusts suction power and mop pressure according to the type of dirt. It uses a cylindrical mop with a constant pressure of up to 12 Newtons and a hot water spray at 45°C to remove stains. It is also designed with hair-tangle-resistant brushes and a cyclone suction technology certified by SGS to ensure high performance.

A Pet Mode 1.0 Pro has been added to handle homes with pets, where the robot avoids pet beds and supports voice interactions that mimic the owner’s voice.

The device operates with a 6,400 mAh battery providing up to 3.8 hours of runtime, with a clean water tank capacity of 475 ml and a dirty water tank capacity of 500 ml. It also supports the NarGPT 2.0 voice assistant capable of executing complex commands with high accuracy.

The base station includes hot water washing at 80°C, electrochemically activated water sterilization, and hot air drying at 45°C. It also provides a dust bag with a capacity of 2.5 liters, sufficient for up to 120 days, with automatic water filling and drainage support.

The device is available in two versions: the standard version with a regular water tank priced at around $658, and the slim version equipped with an automatic water filling and drainage system available for $743.
