The company xAI announced the addition of a new British male voice named Leo to its Grok application on Android devices, aiming to enhance user experience in interacting with artificial intelligence through voice commands. This addition is part of a diverse set of voices previously introduced in the app to make conversations smoother and more natural. The voice feature helps users talk to AI and hear responses directly, making interaction more natural and efficient. The new feature adds voice options such as Ara and Eve (female voices), and Rex and Sal (male voices), giving users greater freedom to choose a culturally and personally suitable interaction style. Additionally, the Grok app on iOS recently received updates including a redesign of the Imagine feature, a ‘Make video with Grok’ function to convert images into videos in 17 seconds, and the availability of Auto and Expert modes to access Grok 4 for free.

The app’s PDF processing capabilities have also been enhanced, expanding its practical uses. This update reflects xAI’s commitment to improving user experience by providing multiple voice options that support natural and flexible AI interaction. Android users can activate the new voice after updating the app, offering a more realistic and enjoyable experience when talking to Grok.
