Miloud Hamdi, the head coach of Ismaily Club, has been closely watching Ghazl El Mahalla’s matches in the Egyptian Premier League since the season started, including their recent goalless draw against Al Ahly. He is analyzing their strengths and weaknesses to prepare Ismaily for their upcoming league match against Ghazl El Mahalla scheduled for 9 PM next Saturday at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in the fifth round of the league. Despite Ismaily seeking to strengthen their squad and improve their performance after a disappointing start, the team suffered a setback when their striker Marwan Hamdi sustained a severe injury during the second round match against Pyramids, confirmed by club medical chief Magdy El Baz.

Marwan suffered two fractures in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot and requires about a month of rest, ruling him out of the next two matches against Al Ittihad Alexandria and Tala’ea El Gaish. Additionally, Ismaily will miss Hatem Sakr due to an ACL tear and midfielder Mohamed Hassan, who is recovering from an Achilles tendon injury sustained last season against Zamalek, needing two months to return. Palestinian striker Khaled Al-Nabresi is also undergoing intensive rehabilitation after a complex elbow fracture last season to be ready for the new season.
