The Rural Development Department at the Fayoum Directorate of Agriculture organized an educational seminar on food poisoning and its prevention in Sanro village, Abshway center. The seminar was supervised by Engineer Hanan Owais, responsible for rural development, and attended by several rural development engineers and representatives from the Agricultural Research Center in Fayoum. The seminar addressed the causes of food poisoning resulting from consuming contaminated food or water with bacteria, viruses, parasites, or chemicals. It also reviewed key symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and headaches, emphasizing preventive measures including proper handwashing, thorough cooking, and storing food at appropriate temperatures.
