Akram Tawfiq, the player from Al Shamal in Qatar, has been included in the plans of Egypt’s second national football team coaching staff to join the upcoming training camp in preparation for the Arab Cup in Qatar this December 2023. The technical staff is also in contact with Ahmed Hegazi from Neom Saudi and Mohamed Elneny from Al Jazira UAE to finalize their participation in the September camp, which includes two friendly matches against Tunisia on September 6 and 9 at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium. The camp, led by coach Helmy Tolaan, will run from September 1 to 9 and aims to prepare the team strongly for the Arab Cup competitions in Doha. The technical staff recently held meetings to discuss all administrative, technical, and medical arrangements, emphasizing the importance of this camp for Egyptian football.
