The fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League 2025-2026 season concludes today, Tuesday, with three matches, headlined by the encounter between Zamalek and Pharco, which holds great importance for Zamalek as they aim for the top of the league. This round is expected to witness strong competition among teams, with major clubs seeking to continue their winning streaks and other teams aiming to improve their standings. Al Ahly returns after having a rest in the previous round.

ON Sport channel broadcasts the Egyptian Premier League matches, featuring an analytical studio with prominent Egyptian football stars.

The Professional Clubs Association announced an official change in match timings to 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM instead of the previous 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM during August, to ensure players’ health and fan attendance due to high temperatures.

The new season started with an exceptional format including 21 teams after the cancellation of relegation last season. This season features 21 teams following the decision to cancel relegation and promote three teams from the second division to join the 18 teams in the top league.

The 21 participating teams are: Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, Ismaily, Al Masry, Al Ittihad, Ceramica, El Gouna, National Bank, Modern Sport, ENPPI, Tala’ea El Gaish, Ceramica, ZED, Pharco, Smouha, Ghazl El Mahalla, Haras El Hodoud, Petrojet, Al Mokawloon Al Arab, Wadi Degla, and Ismailia Electricity.

Al Ahly won the previous league title by just two points ahead of Pyramids after a fierce competition until the final moments.
