The 2025-2026 league season kicks off today, Friday, with three strong matches featuring Wadi Degla vs. Pyramids, Al-Masry vs. Al-Ittihad, and Ceramica vs. Zamalek.

Pyramids will visit Wadi Degla at 6 PM today at Al Salam International Stadium in the opening round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Pyramids signed Brazilian Everton da Silva, Mustafa Ziko from ZED, Mahmoud Gad from Al-Masry, and regained Mohamed Reda Bobo and Mahmoud Abdel Hafiz Zalaka from Ceramica.

Wadi Degla’s head coach Mohamed El Sheikh prepared strongly for the league start, playing seven friendly matches during the preparation period, including wins and losses against various teams.

Wadi Degla signed nine new players to strengthen their squad, including Hisham Mohamed, Ibrahim El Bahnasawy, Ahmed El Shimi, Mohamed Ragab, Amr Hosam, Ahmed Farouk, Ahmed Ayman, Dutch player Kandorp, and goalkeeper Hassan El Hattab.

Al-Masry will host Al-Ittihad at 9 PM today at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.

Zamalek will face Ceramica at 9 PM today at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium.

Zamalek recently signed several players including Mehdi Suleiman, Chico Panza, Amr Nasser, Ahmed Sherif, Adam Kayid, Abdelhamid Maali, Ahmed Rabie, Mohamed Ismail, and Adi Al-Dabbagh, alongside renewing Abdullah Al-Saeed’s contract.

Ceramica signed Mohamed Maghrabi, Karim Al-Debis, Khaled Abdel Fattah from Al Ahly and Al-Ittihad, goalkeeper Mohamed Tarek, Karim Nedved, Amr El Solia, South African Fakhri Lakay, and Ahmed Samir.
