Omar Morshoush started on the bench and came on in the 66th minute. Manchester City has made significant summer signings including Ryan Cherki, Ryan Ait Nouri, Tijani Reinders, Benjamin Kyerki, and goalkeeper James Trafford, spending over £153.4 million. Morshoush transferred to Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt for €75 million, becoming the most expensive African player in the Premier League.
