A visit described as secret to Switzerland was surprisingly known to many before Al-Burhan packed his bags. A meeting with Mas’ad Boulos, advisor to the US president, was followed by a propaganda explosion from the Islamic military media, distributing news of so-called victories revealed by the war.
The military propaganda machine claimed that Al-Burhan discussed with Boulos – and note that it was Al-Burhan who discussed – the exclusion of the Rapid Support Forces from any future participation or negotiations.
However, no one told us: what was Boulos’s response? Did he nod in admiration of Al-Burhan’s intelligence? Will Al-Burhan sign a ceasefire agreement with himself or with his supporters? Where did he propose to relocate tens of thousands of Rapid Support Forces members? Will they vanish into thin air or be relocated to imaginary islands drawn by their barren imagination?
The greatest irony is in the same news they boasted about, which exposes their lies and undermines their credibility; they added that Al-Burhan also discussed with Boulos “lifting the siege of Al-Fashir”! Tell us: who is besieging Al-Fashir? Who needs help and support: the besieger or the besieged? And how can the besieged decide the fate of the besieger?
War is ugly in all its aspects, and its worst part is its lies!
The scene of war promoters, journalists, and theorists shouting and portraying the meeting as a great victory is the most surreal picture. They are the same who have long chanted “the solution is in eliminating the Rapid Support Forces” and accused us and all the democratic civil stream of treason and collaboration just for calling to stop the war from day one and resort to negotiation.
Today, they dance joyfully on illusions of understandings that never happened, swallowing our leftovers without chewing and adding poisonous venom from the kitchen of distorted Islamist propaganda!
All war claimants without exception are bloody, cowardly, stupid, and liars, without memory or compass.
If falsehood has heroes, they are its crowned pioneers, wearing wreaths of illusion on empty heads, thinking applause for mirage turns it into water. But history records, and the present loudly screams that this ridiculous play is in its last act before the curtain falls and the lights go out, leaving lies alone in the dark without Al-Burhan or his supporters.
What if the US administration decides to hold a meeting with Hemeti tomorrow? Would this be considered a victory for the Rapid Support Forces as they portrayed Al-Burhan’s meeting? Will they lament and wail, or will they be like us, considering the two meetings merely a window to seek a way out to stop the raging war between two parties: the first, the Islamic movement and the army; the second, the Rapid Support Forces?
The difference between us and them is a difference in ethics, consistency, and love for this great homeland… very much.
