After successfully securing the deal for French player Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich, Al-Nassr’s management is close to bringing back defender Abdullah Madu to the team. This comes through an agreement with “Ittifaq” involving waiving the dues of player Khaled Al-Ghannam and transferring player Bassam Hazazi to Ittifaq.

Earlier reports indicated negotiations to bring back Madu at the request of Portuguese coach Jesus as part of plans to strengthen the yellow team’s defense.

Al-Ula club completed procedures to sign Al-Nassr midfielder Abdulmajid Al-Sulayhem on a free loan until the end of the current season. The official signing occurred after passing the medical examination.

Al-Sulayhem’s move comes with one season remaining on his contract with Al-Nassr, as he seeks a new experience with Al-Ula for more playing opportunities before deciding his next destination.

Al-Nassr also completed the signing of French star Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich on a contract until 2028. The deal received global attention due to Coman’s stardom and significant impact on Bayern and the French national team in recent years.

According to media outlets including Sky and Bild, the deal is worth 30 million euros including incentives, with an annual salary between 20 and 25 million euros, more than double his current salary in Germany.

Coman, 29, spent 10 years at Bayern Munich since joining in summer 2015 on loan from Juventus, before signing permanently in 2017. During this period, he won 9 Bundesliga titles, 3 domestic cups, and scored the winning goal in the 2020 UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain, earning the nickname “the Bavarian King”.

From his beginnings in the suburbs of Paris to the heart of Bavaria, Coman has shown a near-legendary ability to collect domestic titles, winning the French league early in his career. With Juventus, he added the Italian league and cup in his first season, then joined Bayern Munich to become part of a title-winning machine, securing 8 consecutive Bundesliga titles and the 2020 Champions League.

However, Coman’s career has also been marked by a series of injuries that sidelined him for over 100 matches since 2015. Ankle and knee injuries at critical times prevented him from playing in the 2018 World Cup, despite being influential in Euro 2016. The cycle of injuries continued, with the latest being a medial knee ligament tear in January 2024.

Nevertheless, Coman remains a decisive player with an immediate impact whenever fully fit. His record with Bayern (around 40 goals in over 185 matches) attests to his offensive effectiveness.
