The Japanese feature film “Two Seasons, Two Strangers” directed by Sho Miyaki won the Golden Leopard award at the 78th edition of the Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland. The Austrian-German production “White Snail” was honored twice, receiving the Special Jury Prize and best acting awards for Belarusian actors Mikhail Sinkov and Maria Imbro. Iraqi-born Abbas Fadel was recognized for directing the documentary “Tales of the Wounded Land.”
