On August 7, 2025, six people were martyred and ten others injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting a vehicle on the Al-Masna international road in the Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon. Earlier, a person was killed in an Israeli strike on Kfardane town west of Baalbek. Additionally, a Syrian citizen was martyred and two injured in Israeli raids on Deir Siriane in Nabatieh province in southern Lebanon. The Israeli aggression on Lebanon began in October 2023 and escalated into a wide war in September 2024, resulting in over 4,000 martyrs and around 17,000 wounded. A ceasefire agreement started in November 2024 but Israel violated it over 3,000 times, causing 276 martyrs and 580 injuries. Despite a partial Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, Israel continues to occupy five Lebanese hills seized during the last war.
