The Israeli army announced that it intercepted two drones launched from Yemen within less than an hour. The Houthis in Yemen had announced attacks using missiles and drones on Israel in recent days. The group also claimed on Tuesday to have carried out a qualitative military operation using a hypersonic ballistic missile of the “Palestine 2” type, targeting Lod Airport in the Jaffa area. Channel 14 reported on Tuesday, citing a security source, that Israel is preparing an operation against the Houthis in Yemen to ensure they cannot strike it again. Security assessments indicate that the Houthis still possess only dozens of missiles and the capability to produce and launch these missiles towards Israel.
