Zaid Qunbar scored the only goal of the match in the 38th minute, taking advantage of a misunderstanding between Algerian goalkeeper Mohamed Hadid and his teammate defender Hussein Dahiri.

The Algerian national team had won the first friendly match, also held in Annaba last Thursday, with a clean 3-0 victory.
