Shady Mohamed, Head of the Women’s Football Sector at Al Ahly Club, confirmed that Hassam Hassan, the head coach of the Egypt national team, is being unfairly treated by some former football players.
Shady Mohamed said in statements to Seham Saleh on the Clasico program on On TV: “Egypt’s group was not easy, and we were eliminated by teams much weaker than that.”
He added: “Hassam Hassan is not getting his due rights, and some people wish for his loss from former players, which I witnessed with my own eyes after securing qualification to the World Cup at the last moment. Hassam Hassan received strong media support.”
He continued: “There are good players who were unfairly excluded from the Egypt national team, and every coach has likes and dislikes. What’s wrong with Mustafa Mohamed sitting on the bench for Osama Faisal?!”
He concluded: “I hope we work well to achieve results worthy of the name and reputation of Egyptian football in the upcoming World Cup.”
