Father Boutros Daniel, head of the Catholic Center Cinema Festival, sent a message of thanks and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, affirming that his recent stance represents a new chapter of heroism and wisdom in the journey of peace.

In a special statement to Al-Ahram Gate, Daniel said: “I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his heroic and balanced stance, which reflects a high humanitarian and political vision that believes peace is the true path to life, while wars only bring destruction, with both the strong and the weak losing, and the greatest victim being the innocent human.”

Boutros added: “It is a great honor for us as Egyptians to see our country always on the side of peace, seeking calm and opening doors for dialogue instead of conflict. Egypt has been and remains the cradle of peace, from the past until today, and its steadfastness in times of fear and turmoil makes us proud to belong to it.”

Daniel continued, expressing his hope for a (Egyptian-Arab) dramatic work that reflects this important phase and immortalizes these heroic stances.

He concluded by saying: “Art is the soft power that delivers the message of peace faster than any weapon, and Egypt has always been the voice of humanity and reason in times of noise.”
