Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of the Egyptian national team, praised the character of Mohamed Salah, the team captain and Liverpool star, highlighting his important role in the team.
Hassan said, “Salah is wonderful and very smart; his mind is present with us in every detail, and he understands all the shortcomings of the players.”
He added on On Sport channel, “His mentality, mashallah, is that of a smart personality. After interacting with him, we realized he is on another level. His presence is extremely important, the players love him, and he breaks many records.”
He continued, “The spirit between the players and the staff is indescribable, but some try to undermine us. We work under constant pressure to keep us away from the scene because we work seriously out of love for Egypt. Victories defeat any attempts at sabotage.”
Regarding the team’s ambition in the Africa Cup, Ibrahim Hassan said, “Our ambition is beyond description. There is no room for just honorable participation; our ambition exceeds the fans’ expectations. Our character is saddened by losing even a friendly match; we want to win everything.”
The team manager emphasized, “We will compete until the last moment, try to reach the farthest position, and we will fight to the death in the Africa Cup to succeed, win the title, and raise Egypt’s name.”
He concluded, “We have previously outperformed Morocco, so why not repeat our superiority over them? We are capable of everything, provided we have everyone’s support.”
