The Brazilian national team management has expressed full satisfaction with the performance of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti and plans to offer a new contract extending for four additional years until 2030.
The decision came after an initial agreement with Ancelotti in spring 2025, who currently leads the Seleção as head coach, with his current contract ending after the 2026 World Cup. According to the Brazilian newspaper Jornal O Globo, the management has expressed admiration for his style and the team’s results under his leadership. The Brazilian team has already secured qualification for the 2026 World Cup and continues preparations for the tournament, including a friendly match against Japan to boost the team’s readiness.
