Walid Salah El-Din, the football director of Al Ahly, revealed the injury status of the Red Devils’ players, including Imam Ashour, Moroccan Ashraf Dari, Karim Fouad, and Mohamed Shokry.

Salah El-Din added in a televised statement: The test results for Imam Ashour and his enzyme levels are close to normal, and the player will return to the field soon. Mohamed Shokry has returned to training normally after recovering from his injury.

He continued: Ashraf Dari is an international defender with the Moroccan national team, and his injuries are not concentrated in one area, which is reassuring as there is no chronic injury in one spot. Dari and Karim Fouad will undergo scans to determine their return dates.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly is preparing to face the Burundian team, Eagles of Nyarugusu, on October 18 at their stadium in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32, with the return match scheduled in Cairo a week later.
