Walid Salah El-Din, Al Ahly’s football director, stated that there is mutual respect among players in the locker room, confirming that there are no crises or problems.
In a televised statement, Salah El-Din added that Ahmed Ramadan Beckham will not leave in January and that all rumors about this are false. The club has top-level goalkeepers, with Mohamed El-Shenawy treating them like an older brother, and this area is fully settled.
He continued: The Al Ahly locker room is full of respect among players. Zizo is a respectful and professional person who has not caused any problems. The club plans to build a large resting area for players at the football department headquarters. Similarly, Emam has not created any issues; love is the foundation of relationships at Al Ahly, and anything else ends on the field.
He added: I did not ask Emam Ashour to deny any rumors about his relationship with anyone because the player is in front of me. If I wanted anything, I would ask him directly. He is committed and has a contract with the club. All talk about a crisis between Emam Ashour and Zizo is just rumors, and I urge fans not to listen to them.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly is preparing to face the Burundian team, Eagles Noir, on October 18 at their stadium in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32. The return match will be held in Cairo a week later.
