The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has appointed Samar Nassar, Secretary-General of the Jordan Football Association, as a member of the Confederations Committee for the upcoming term from 2025 to 2029, in recognition of her administrative expertise and distinguished career in developing the sport.
FIFA also decided to appoint Hani Al-Kurdi, Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Jordan Football Association, as a member of the FIFA Legal Committee. He was recently named to the Disciplinary Committee of the Arab Football Federation, due to his competence, experience, and extensive record in sports law and legislation.
This selection by FIFA confirms the growing trust it places in Jordanian cadres, given their professional experience, high competence, and ability to effectively contribute to the development of the global football system, reflecting the prestigious status Jordanian football has reached on the international stage.
