Two African teams were eliminated from the round of 16 of the U20 World Cup on Wednesday, namely South Africa and Nigeria, who were defeated by Colombia and Argentina respectively in this global football event.
South Africa’s youth team lost to Colombia’s youth team 3-1, while the Argentine U20 team thrashed Nigeria 4-0.
As a result, the quarterfinals will feature a match between Colombia and Spain, while Argentina will face Mexico in a promising encounter.
It is worth noting that the Moroccan U20 team will face South Korea the day after tomorrow, Friday, at midnight local time, to decide who will advance to the U20 World Cup quarterfinals.
