Al Ahly secured an important 2-1 victory over Zamalek in the match held tonight, Monday, at Cairo Stadium as part of the ninth round of the Premier League. Substitute Hussein El-Shahat played a major role in Al Ahly’s win by scoring a goal and causing a penalty kick from which Trezeguet scored the second goal.
Zamalek took the lead through Hossam Abdel Meguid in the 32nd minute from a penalty kick, while Al Ahly’s goals came from Hussein El-Shahat in the 71st minute and Trezeguet in the 78th minute from a penalty.
