El Shahat entered the field in the 69th minute as a substitute for Taher Mohamed Taher and quickly made a difference by scoring the equalizer and then causing a decisive penalty kick, from which Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet scored the winning goal. The match ended 2-1 in favor of Al Ahly after trailing by one goal.

Al Ahly achieved an important 2-1 victory over Zamalek in the match held on Monday evening at Cairo Stadium as part of the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League. Zamalek took the lead through Hossam Abdel Meguid in the 32nd minute via a penalty kick, while Al Ahly’s goals came from Hussein El Shahat in the 71st minute and Trezeguet in the 78th minute from a penalty kick.

With this result, Al Ahly raised its points to 12 and climbed to third place, while Zamalek remained at 17 points and stayed in first place in the league.
