Champion Safia Jalal gifted Algeria a gold medal in shot put at the World Para Athletics Championships currently taking place in New Delhi.
Safia Jalal excelled in the F57 shot put final, achieving a throw of 11.67 meters.
With this throw, the Algerian champion broke the world record.
Meanwhile, champion Nassima Saifi won the silver medal in shot put with a throw of 10.45 meters.
