During July, the Fujairah Science Club witnessed intensive activity through organizing diverse scientific and educational programs and initiatives, attracting 1008 participants from various age groups as part of the club’s efforts to promote a culture of innovation and develop youth skills.
Dr. Saif Al Mailei, the club director, confirmed that the events focused on utilizing the summer vacation to develop students’ scientific skills, noting that July was full of initiatives aimed at preparing a creative and aware generation. He explained that the club’s programs included workshops and scientific lectures, alongside educational recreational activities.
The club participated in the “Qayyid Al Khair” event in cooperation with the Fujairah Natural Resources Foundation, which attracted more than 400 participants, offering presentations on 3D printing and robotics programming.
The club also organized a robotics programming workshop with 30 participants and launched the fourth summer camp with 52 participants, in addition to several specialized workshops in manual and mechanical skills, photography, electronic design, and cybersecurity.
Among the prominent events were lectures on electronic game design (45 participants), chess (38 participants), cyberbullying (36 participants), and an artificial intelligence workshop in cooperation with “Fujairah Adventures” (43 participants), as well as a health lecture in collaboration with the Ministry of Health attended by 47 people.
Internationally, Dr. Saif Al Mailei participated in the “International Educational Innovation Camp 2025” in Thailand as an international judge and leadership mentor, and was honored with the “The Top (1)” award in recognition of his contributions to supporting innovation locally and internationally.
Al Mailei affirmed that these activities come within the club’s keenness to instill concepts of science and creativity among youth, attracting scientifically gifted individuals, thereby enhancing Fujairah’s position as a vital center for innovation and non-formal education.
