TV presenter Ahmed Moussa expressed deep sympathy for a Zamalek club fan who was seen crying after his team lost to Al Ahly in the derby match, stating that the scene affected him on a human level.

Moussa said during his program “Ala Mas’ouliyati” broadcast on Sada El Balad channel: “I want to reach out to this young man and kiss his head live on air… This is the true sportsmanship spirit.”

He added that although he was happy with Al Ahly’s victory, the feelings of the Zamalek fan deserve appreciation and respect, emphasizing that football should remain a source of enjoyment and fair competition, not a cause for sadness. He addressed the fan saying: “Hold your head up, your team is great, and losing is part of the game.”

Moussa also praised Al Ahly’s performance, considering that the Red team appeared more organized and prepared compared to Zamalek, which did not show sufficient readiness for the match. He also expressed surprise at Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid missing a clear opportunity that would have given Zamalek a third goal after a great effort by Aliou Dieng was wasted.
