Tennis player Abdullah Shalbayeh won the Las Vegas Challenger tournament, which awards 75 points, after defeating American player Alex Rybakov in the final in straight sets.
This is Shalbayeh’s second title in his Challenger career, tournaments held under the supervision of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Challenger events are the second tier after the main ATP Tour and are designed to help players improve their world rankings and progress to major tournaments.
Shalbayeh is expected to rise to rank 302 in the ATP rankings, climbing 135 spots from his previous position.
