Former Al Ahly star Yasser Rayan spoke about Al Ahly’s 2-1 victory in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Rayan said in statements to Karim Ramzy on the “La’ba Wel Tania” program on Radio Mega FM: “Zamalek had chances to end the match early, but they were physically exhausted. Zamalek’s coach Ferreira is strange; he sees some of his players are physically exhausted yet made no substitutions.”
He added: “Al Ahly managed the match excellently. The performance of both teams before the match was not at their best. The first half was average from both sides. The forced entry of Hussein El-Shahat was a turning point for Al Ahly against Zamalek. El-Shahat and Ribeiro had forgotten the ball, but Emad El-Nahas restored his confidence as he was psychologically affected.”
