His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi in Al Ain, visited the 22nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition organized by ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Emirates Falconers Club under the theme “Renewed Heritage” at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi, running until September 7.
During his tour of several national, regional, and international pavilions, His Highness reviewed key products and innovations in hunting, equestrian sports, camping, as well as sections dedicated to traditional crafts, folk arts, and heritage. He also observed various initiatives by participating entities aimed at preserving the UAE’s rich cultural and heritage legacy and ensuring its sustainability for future generations.
Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed emphasized the importance of the exhibition as a comprehensive international platform that brings together major companies and institutions specialized in hunting, equestrian sports, and camping to showcase their latest products. He highlighted its role in promoting traditional crafts, folk arts, preserving authentic Emirati customs and traditions, and enhancing their presence and status within society. This aligns with the goals of the “Year of the Community” initiative announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to strengthen national identity values and foster social cohesion.
He praised the efforts of the organizing and participating entities in this edition for educating younger generations about the UAE’s rich cultural heritage and attracting hunting, equestrian, and camping enthusiasts to Abu Dhabi, thereby reinforcing the emirate’s position as a leading regional and international destination for preserving popular heritage.
His Highness was accompanied during the visit by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Fares Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, Hamid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO of ADNEC Group, and several officials.
The exhibition was also visited by His Highness Sheikh Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Developmental Affairs and Martyrs’ Families, who toured the event attracting participation from 68 countries across 15 sectors, and reviewed the latest exhibits highlighting innovation, sustainability, and heritage preservation. He praised the high quality of organization and broad international participation, which contribute to consolidating the exhibition’s cultural importance globally.
His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Head of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, also visited the exhibition and reviewed a wide range of products and equipment related to falcon breeding, hunting, and equestrian sports. He commended the use of advanced equipment and innovative solutions that embody the UAE’s cultural heritage and meet the needs of participants from around the world.
The 22nd edition revealed the latest innovations in firearms and precision optics, with global companies showcasing advanced rifles, pistols, and scopes that combine high technology and accuracy, reflecting ongoing development in hunting and shooting equipment design internationally, and confirming the exhibition’s status as a key platform for presenting the latest advancements and technologies in this vital sector.
