The woman suspected of selling ketamine, which led to the death of “Friends” TV star Matthew Perry in 2023, has pleaded guilty in a California court, avoiding a trial.
Jasveen Sangha, 42, known in some Hollywood circles as the “Ketamine Queen,” faces up to 65 years in prison as part of this plea deal, which includes multiple charges including distributing ketamine that caused the death.
The death of Matthew Perry, who was found unconscious in his Jacuzzi tub in October 2023, shocked the “Friends” fanbase and was followed by widespread tributes to the late actor in Hollywood. Perry, who played Chandler Bing in the famous series, had publicly spoken about his struggles with addiction.
According to the investigation, Jasveen Sangha sold dozens of ketamine doses to Matthew Perry. During a search of her home, investigators found 80 vials of ketamine, as well as methamphetamine and cocaine.
