In Bulgaria, Spain took early control of the match, with Mikel Oyarzabal opening the scoring early after receiving a pass from Martin Zubimendi, breaking through the Bulgarian defense and placing the ball in the net for Spain’s first goal (5′). Despite Bulgaria’s attempts to come back, Spain doubled the score with a powerful shot from Marc Cucurella (30′), and eight minutes later Mikel Merino scored the third goal (38′). The score remained unchanged in the second half, ending with a 3-0 victory for Spain.

In Georgia, Turkey defeated the host team 3-2. Turkey took the lead with three unanswered goals by Mert Müldür (3′), Kerim Aktürkoğlu (two goals at 41′ and 52′). Georgia then reduced the deficit with a goal by Zuriko Davitashvili (63′), followed by a second goal in stoppage time by Kvaratskhelia (90+8′). Turkish substitute Barış Yılmaz received a red card five minutes after entering the match (71′). The match ended with Turkey winning 3-2.

With these results, Spain tops Group 5 with 3 points, tied with Turkey but leading on goal difference. The two teams will meet next Sunday.
