The Russian presidency, the Kremlin, stated on Wednesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not conspiring with Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un against the United States, suggesting that US President Donald Trump’s criticism might have been sarcastic.

Yuri Ushakov, the Kremlin’s foreign policy advisor, said Trump was possibly making sarcastic remarks in response to a question from Russian state television about Trump’s statements.

Ushakov said, “I would like to confirm that there is no conspiracy, no one is conspiring against any party, and there are no conspiracies at all. This idea has not crossed the minds of any of the three leaders.”

He added, “I can say that everyone understands the role played by the United States, the current administration of President Trump, and Trump himself in the current international situation.”

US President Donald Trump had accused Chinese President Xi Jinping of “conspiring” against his country along with Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who were in Beijing to attend a massive military parade commemorating the end of World War II.

Trump wrote on his social media platform “Truth Social,” “I wish President Xi and the great people of China a wonderful day of celebrations,” before adding sarcastically, “Please give my best regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un while you conspire against the United States.”

It is noted that the Chinese president warned that the world faces a choice between peace or war during the massive military parade in Beijing today, attended by Putin and Kim, which was an unprecedented show of power.
