Sports analyst Ahmed Hossam Mido praised the decision of Al Ahly club’s board to include Adel Mostafa in the new coaching staff leading the Red Castle.
Mido said in a television statement: “Adel Mostafa is a great coach, and his presence at Al Ahly represents an addition to the team on the technical level and beyond.”
He continued: “Choosing a coaching staff from the club’s own members is a distinctive matter credited to the board, and all of them answered their club’s call despite their commitments to other clubs.”
He added: “Walid Salah El-Din was settled in his position and work with ZED club, yet he agreed to join Al Ahly’s new coaching staff immediately without hesitation.”
Mido further stated: “Without hesitation, the interim coaching staff will continue its duties alongside the new foreign coach who will take over the mission in the future without doubt.”
He concluded: “Al Ahly’s management and planning committee must be cautious before choosing the foreign coach because José Ribeiro was not properly studied.”
